Customs / Immigration - Border Entry

Most I.C.F.R.A. member nations have freedom of entry to New Zealand without the necessity of any additional documentation or visas, except for the personal passport from the country of origin, for a visit of up to 3 months in duration.

However a check may be necessary through your travel authority or flight provider in relation to duty free allowances, firearms, and dangerous goods / ammunition. On arrival in New Zealand you will have to complete an Arrivals card on which you will have to declare any items of a bio-security nature. This includes all food items, and items of equipment involved in farming, hunting, fishing, etc.
